Today at the Planetarium I learned lots of cool facts like:
- The highest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, is on Mars
- You will never see the scorpion and Orion in the sky at the same time
- The big dipper and the little dipper aren’t actual constellations, they are asterisms
- Orion is a winter constellation
- Scorpius is a summer constellation
- Without the light pollution in St. Louis we would be able to see the stars way better
- Most of the constellations were made up by the Greeks
