Heros

As I climbed up the hard red mountain, it felt like I was climbing air not that I know what that feels like. Right when i sat down it started raining cats and dogs, and i knew there was nothing i could do about it. so i got up and kept going i didn’t exactly know where i was going but i just kept going thinking i would find something and become a hero. but when i realized i was surrounded by racoons it was too late, and out of this problem came an umbrella flying at my face floating in the air out of nowhere and that is when i knew my life was over.

Todays claymo lesson

I feel that todays Claymo lesson went amazing, All of the people in my group participated and listened. One of the 4th graders in my group was unaware of this situation, they thought that they had cars and shoes and everything we have. when they found out that they didn't even have water they wanted to help. One of the ideas was to help build wells. Another was to build a man made lake with a protected bottom to make shure no mud or anything else could get in, And it would have walls and a celling. On the celling their would be a light to takeout the bacteria, and the light would be powered by a solar panel on the roof. So overall I think Claymo went amazing!
I  think that claymo went very well and here are some of the ideas that I got from the group!!!!!!!!

-Donate money
-Donate fruit
-Donate clean water
-Donate shoes
-Filter the water
-Move closer to the water
-Wear shoes
-Get rid of the thorns

Claymo review 2A

Today, I believe that Ava D. and I had a amazing meeting today. We didn't have to get anyone's attention, but the teacher helped get the younger children participating. A few ideas we came up with were...
         - Donate clean water
         - Send filters
         - Run a shoe drive
         - Donate money (For wells, and stuff)
         - Send lighter containers
         - Send hand fans
         - Send easier transportation devises ( For them or for carrying water, or both )
         - Donate to charities to help fund the project

Claymo Lesson

Todays Claymo Lesson
I think todays Claymo Lesson went great we had everyone involved in the conversation. It was also a lot of fun for the 5th grade leaders too. I really feel bad for the people that have to drink that dirty water. Some of my solutions were: Donate shoes/socks, make water fountain/well, have a medicine, donate bottled waters, make a filtration system, make a pill that turns into water, raise money to build a water tower, give them tweezers or a broom, and give some food.

People have always wanted to go to mars the red planet.Hard rocky mountains.Mars is in space so you can float around on the moon a feather floated the same speed as a rock but not on mars.In mars it never rains so you don’t need a umbrella. In mars theres no life so its lonely but you can do things by yorself. There is also no water no fun but sientist still want to visit mars why is that no one Knows why.In mars every thing is alein like to humans.I wonder if there are cool things on mars.
Our CLAYMO groups went amazing today.  The best part about this CLAYMO was with no doubt, being together and having fun with the little kids.  We had many ideas such as, Making a water filter, Donating shoes to Sudan, Donating clothes AKA clothes drive, send letters of hope to lift the Sudan people's spirits.
These were the ideas from CLAYMO group 1A.
                              Sincerely,

I felt that C.L.A.Y.M.O. went very very well! My partner Devon and I got many ideas while still                         having time left. Our group's and our ideas were...

  1.     have a shoe drive and then ship them to Sudan
  2.     give the families water filters
  3.     give them solar powered vehicles
  4.     build a solar power light rail system
  5.     set up a relay station

I was reading a book about mars then my brother came in and he was like what are you reading. I said it's a book about mars and since there's no gravity you float. Thanks captain obvious. I know so much when there's an asteroid that comes by it starts to rain so hard and people say mountains on mars melt because of it and its red rain and if you use an umbrella it goes thru it. Wow i took his advice and my paper got an f maybe you should not trust teen brothers who don't even take astronmy.

david's clamo class

Today in clamo we learned about how in other countries the water is far away from people there and is also dirty these are some reasons to help the people.

-make a pipe that goes from the village to the water and purify it
-build a well
-take all the thorns away
-let the people take turns going

These were some of the reasons of how to help.

Claymo

Here are some of  our ideas a toy wagon to pull multiple jugs of water at one time. Donate old shoes and old cloths Make a pathway make wells Give more animals like horses and donkeys and camels for them to ride here and back

Claymo!

My CLAYMO group was really well behaved, and did not get off topic. When Edward and I finished,  there were 15 minutes left, so Ms. Stouffer suggested that we get out legos and build our thoughts for helping people in Sudan. We built boats, wagons, wells, and many more to help lug the water from the pond and back. Some ideas we got to help the people of Sudan get cleaner water were: Sending money to Sudan, sending clean water to Sudan, collecting money for them, helping doctors that fight waterborne diseases, help dig wells closer to their village, buy them filtration systems, and to donate shoes for them so that thorns don't get stuck in their feet. Overall, that was a great CLAYMO lesson!
My Claymo group was really good every single person had a serious mindset on the problem but still had fun. We brain stormed ideas to solve the problem that children men and women are walking miles and miles bear foot on rocks and thorns etc with pounds of water resting on their heads that is dirty and unhealthy witch is not fair. So me and my team came up with these ideas to help solve this world wide problem.

_  donating clean water to the villages in need

_  Raising money for the villages

_  Buy water filters and donate them to the villages

_  Donate shoes to the villages in need

_  Raise money to have the side walks paved

_  Raise money to have wells built in the villages

We really hope that we can use these ideas to make a difference in are world a difference that will stay in our world for ever
Some Of The Ideas For Helping The People Of Sudan:
*Shoe Drive/Collect shoes
*Raise Money To Build A Well
*Raise Money To Make A Safe Road That is Easier To Walk On
*Raise Money To buy Filters

My Claymo group went really well but some of the ideas that the kids shared were un-realistic.

C.L.A.Y.M.O.

  • A shoe drive
  • A filter that goes inside a pipe that can also get good water inside people’s homes. (plumbing) (Donate money)
  • Culligan water donation
  • Solar powered Cars
  • A robot that can deliver water
  • Donate medicine

Claymo, Graham with David

Today in Claymo we had a great time. Our group cooperated very nicely. Some of the Ideas we had were to give shoes, and alternate who walks.Claymo was awesome today. My favorite lesson yet.

Graham 100 word....The Birth of Nature

The birth of Nature was amazing. All of the animals. All of the colors, Red orange yellow green blue indigo violet and every other color imaginable. Mountains to rivers Oceans to valleys, and every other landform imaginable. The ocean had people floating in it and they floated all day, If someone got hot in the sun, They used their newly invented umbrella. The world was beautiful. Everyone and everything was happy with their family and friends, They all lived in peace and ate all plants, so there was no violence. The world was amazing and that lasted happily ever after.

                                                As I Joined The Queue

"No!" I just slipped on ice and cracked my brand new Ipad Air 2! I sprinted straight through the house without even grabbing the ipad so I could go and get my mom very quickly. I then told her what happened. My mom called the apple company right away. I listened as I joined the queue. The next day was Saturday.  I ate lunch, played my soccer game and drove to the mall with my mom. We took the escalator and walked right over to the Apple store. We dropped it off and came back and it looked brand new again.
For Europe!

I treked up the mountain. I dug my pickaxe into the hard, gray mountain. I heaved my body up the mountain.  Once I had gotten to the top, I dug a pole with a red flag on it into the mountain, claiming it for Europe. I was a European explorer, a long long time ago. Back then was the time when Christopher Columbus had discovered what people call America today. All of a sudden, it started raining. I pulled out my umbrella. I floated down the mountain. If you look at that mountain you can still see it waving today.

The Journey

“Keep on going up the mountain.”  I thought.
It was sure hard with all this wind and rain that’s why I brought my yellow raincoat, blue umbrella and, my size two red rain boots.
Me and my friend Lila suddenly felt a bump. We suddenly were falling of the mountain. Luckily, I  had my umbrella opened, so, I grabbed Lily and we then floated down the river back to our house.
“So do you like my story?”
“I love it” said mother. “Now get some rest.”
     “Okay.”
So I huddled myself into my blanket and slept through the night.
Make note this not the 100 word count.

CLAYMO

I think that the CLAYMO lesson went really well for Isaac and me. The class was really focused, but we still had a lot of fun.

Some ideas the CLAYMO group had were:

-Have a clothes drive to raise money for the people of Sudan, then donate it to them
-Have a shoes drive to raise money for the people of Sudan, then donate it to them
-Send them wagons to roll more water
-Send them filters to filter the dirty water
-Send them shoes
Today at Claymo we created a list of how we could help people in Sudan, Africa with there water isue witch is they have to walk a long way for water and the water is not even clean.                                                                     This is what my claymo group came up with
A solar powered car
donate money, and jugs of fresh water and bring the water every day
 medicin
a different rout to the water
shoes and socks
bikes and other transportation
clean water in a well next to there houses
build pipes from the lake to there houses (bring the water to them)
another drink that helps them live other than water
a filter for clean water
robots programed to bring them water every day

CLAYMO

The claymo lesson went well we still had 15 minutes at the end. The claymo lesson was easy to follow and very clear but it could have been a bit longer the slide were very helpful. Some of the ideas my group had was clothes, socks, shoes, money, transportation and food

Week 11 - …as I joined the queue…

…as I joined the queue…

Like all the other citizens of Welshtown, I was about to get in line for one of the most amazing experiences ever, or that’s what I’ve heard at least.  Everybody was either in line or trying to get in line.  As I joined the queue, everything changed.  I was now in the line looking out.  Everything was different but the same, amazing but weird.  As I get closer, I see a huge dome.  Everybody was going in but not coming out.  Skip ahead, I'm now at the start of the line I walk into the dome and it’s…. it’s…...it’s……..
