Matt holliday up to bat he gets ready swings few practice swings it's a beautiful night and the pitcher winds up and straight down the plate flights the ball a fastball but matt holliday was ready and pow the bat cracked and the ball went flying up up and away i realized that it was coming towards me lucky I had brought my glove I raised it above the mobbing hands and pow it hit my glove I looked up and the crowd was cheering but I was the happiest of them all

The Stretch. The wind up, the catcher signed.The pitch, a fastball right on the outside corner, Matt Holiday was at the plate, he swung at the fastball like a blur of brown wood. The ball soared `through the air at what looked like the speed of sound.It soared over the second basemen then over the right fielders head into the bleachers.I extended my glove and heard the ball fall in with a satisfiying kerplonk. I held it up and saw that Matt Holiday was trotting extremely happily into the dugout after the first homerun of the season.
The Great Catch
It all happened in slow motion. The pitcher took a breath, wound up his arm, and the whole stadium watched, on the edge of their seats, as the pitcher thew the ball, his hand outstretched, the ball sliding out of his fingers. It was a smooth, hard strait ball. Matt Holiday was up to bat, and as the ball glided, cutting the sky as it was hurled at him, squinted at it, then his bat was swung at the ball, crack! Matt dropped the bat and ran to first base, so fast he wasn't there when the bat clattered to the ground. He watched with the rest everyone, his team, the crowd, the other team, the coaches and the ump the ball fly in the air, over the gate between the crowd and the field, and I saw then the ball coming towards me, and I could hear in the back round everyone rise to their feet, screaming telling me it was coming my way, but I was focused on the ball. It sailed over to me, I rocked back and forth, trying to aim the ball into my glove. It finally landed in my glove with a satisfying clunk.

On sunday i went to my mom's restaurant at night to make noodles with my second brother.
monday i went to my mom's restaurant. tuesday i went to my dad's office. Wednesday i went to my mom's restaurant then at 6:30pm i went to ballet. Thursday i went with my dad to get a present for esther's birthday party. Friday morning i went to my dad's office we came back at 1:00pm we went home. At 5:20pm i went to esther's house. I was the first one there first we ate then we watched a movie then we played games oh i forgot to say it was a sleepover party.
Graham's Spring Break Post
I went skiing in Breckenridge Colorado.I saw one of my best friends from third grade, Jake. He moved to evergreen colorado at the end of third grade. I also skied a few runs with grant.My favorite run was either intuition,dukes,spitfire, or peak 8 summit. on one day I even skied on all 5 peaks.it was really cool.we flew to Denver then drove to Breckinridge. both took about 2 hours. My brother and I really enjoyed our first ski trip. We thought it was amazing and fun. It was one of my favorite spring breaks

SPING BREAK
My spinning break was so fun because I to go to Wisconsin,Dells and we went to the 2nd biggest water park in the world and i got on the the biggest water slide in there and they had surfing there and I on it to it so fun it was amazing and they had a huge arcade there they big go carts last time I went there I couldn't get on it by myself because I was to small they had rock climbing and laser tag and there to.
Spring Break
This spring break, I went to my grandparents house in Chicago. From the Chicago airport, my brother, my mom, and I flew to Salt Lake City, Utah. From the airport, we took a shuttle to the Brighton ski resort. It was really fun. At the lodge, I met 2 girls named Emily and Cassandra. My mom and brother snowboarded, I skied. We had to go back to Chicago after 3 days. In Chicago, I went to my mom's aunt's Easter party, but my brother got sick so my mom had to stay home with him while I went to the party with my grandparents. When we drove home, my mom got sick, but we made it home.

On my spring break i went to amazing places in DC. I went to were my dad used to go the FBI academy and the basic school marine school and it was amazing because when i was 3 weeks old i went to the FBI academy when he earned his credentials. Then i walked george town and had a blast we visited the exercise steps were they filmed the movie. I also saw the west wing of the wight house and the ogle office. But when i went to the air and space museum me and my dad went into a flight simulated and i put us in the death roll. I had a great time In our nations capital!!!
