Things I learned at the planetarium:

*Cannus miner is not a constellation

*You can't see the stars as well at night or in the city because there is night pollution

*Most of the Harry Potter books got the names from the constellations

*There was a constellation I didn't know about a dog, a bear, and a dragon

The things I learned at the planetaruim are:
*There are 88 constelations
* During the space race barbie mad astronuat dolls
*Our light is very poluted
*Appollo 1 blew up and killed all three astronuts
*Allen Shepard was the first american in space
*Rovers are strong and can go over rocks
*Venus is a made of gas

The Planetarium

Today at the planetarium I learned a lot of interesting facts here are a few of them

• Orion and Scorpius will never be seen in the same season
• Canis minor is not a constellation
• you can see 5 planets with the naked eye
• the big dipper is Ursa majors tail

The Planetarium

Today at the Planetarium I learned lots of cool facts like:

• The highest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, is on Mars
• You will never see the scorpion and Orion in the sky at the same time
• The big dipper and the little dipper aren’t actual constellations, they are asterisms
• Orion is a winter constellation
• Scorpius is a summer constellation
• Without the light pollution in St. Louis we would be able to see the stars way better
• Most of the constellations were made up by the Greeks

Super Reader

Super Reader !

Super reader is a girl who fights crime and is great at reading. Whatever she thinks of she can do. “Anything is possible.” Is her motto. She can create her powers using her imagination. Super reader, like any other superhero, has a super secret identity. She was a little girl named Molly, she was amazing at reading. But people would say she is a nerd and call her a bookworm. So she saw jobs hiring and was put to an experiment. So today, she protects the city of Bookopolis and she uses imagination and creativity to solve crime.   

The planitarium!!!

On our field trip to the planitarium i learned... 

_ The largest volcano in the Milky way is on Mars. It is 16 miles tall and 374 miles across. It is the size of Arizona!!! 

_ I also learned that you have to be going 5 miles over the speed limit to actualy speed :) 

_ I learned that the big dipper is a part of ursimajor the bear. And the little dipper is part of ursiminor the bear. 

_  I also leraned that . J.K Rolling named some of the harry potter carachtors after constilations such as Drako the dragon and serios, this star is one of the stars to make up a constilation in the shape of a dog so this is why siriuos black can turn into a dog.
