The game of...
I was finally there, the baseball game! “Mom! Mom!” I screamed. “We are at the first baseball game of the season and it's my first time! I wish i Could have brought in octopus dude, Those mean guards did not let me!” I was a little kid then, now i'm in first grade. “ I know” said my mom “ and those guards were afraid that there was a bomb in your stuffed animal. “ Why would there be a bomb with a stuffed animal?” I asked as my mom and I were walking to our seats in the fread bird club. “ i don't know” my mom replied “ some people do awful things for no reason”. As we were about to sit down Matt Holliday was about to bat. Matt was waiting for the ball to be pitched, then… bam he hit the ball it was coming right towards me i caught the ball, Matt Adams bat broke and it was my first game, there was no way this day could get better until...
It was my first cardinals game of the season and I was so excited to be back at the ball field! As my family grabbed their seats. I could tell the game was about to begin, the players were starting to line up for the national anthem. Ounce I finally sat down, the game began. I could feel everyone in crod was ancy and excited. It was Matt holidays first time up {moments later} I could see the ball fly across the stadium and thought that out of the 100's of people in the stadium that their was no way that I was going to catch the ball. As I took I bite of my dip and dots I realized the ball was going towards the area I was sitting in. I looked behind me and saw a big dude running towards it. Ounce it was about a meter away I begin to jump high to catch the ball.

The Home Run
I CAUGHT IT!!! I caught the first home run hit that Matt Holliday made this season!
The ball was ready to be pitched, Matt Holliday was at home plate, ready to swing his bat. Everybody watching the game was at the edge of their seats, not knowing what to expect. Jeremy Hellickson’s arm went back and then forward in a fast motion. Then, Matt Holliday swung the bat and it was a home run. The ball was heading towards me ! I got my hand ready, and the ball came right into my grasp ! I was then the happiest person alive.

Imagine you are attending Opening Day of the Cardinals Season and YOU caught the first homeroom hit by Matt Holliday of the season. Write me a 100 Word Count Post about this prompt giving juicy details so I as the reader can feel like I am there!
Matt Carpenter is leading off the Cardinals for opening day!
Opening day is so important because the first game starts a new season. The first pitch on the way Matt Carpenter drives it up the middle! Kolten Wong is next with a man on first and no outs.
The pitch is under way he takes high for ball one. The next pitch is under way… oh my gosh the pitch hit him. Stephen Piscotty is up the first pitch is thrown he hammers it to shallow center. Bases are loaded now for Matt Holliday. The first two pitches are taken high 2-0. The next pitch is right down the middle but he couldn’t pull the trigger 2-1. Then next pitch is low 3-1. I hold my glove up ready for anything that comes to me. The next pitch is under way it is hammered by Matt Holliday to deep left field it’s coming to me I jump up with my glove high in the air way higher than the mod of people and I catch it. I can’t believe it I caught Matt Holliday grand slam. I knew Matt Holliday was happy but there was no way I could express how happy I was.
Ball game
Sweat was dripping from the pitcher's face. Matt holiday is up to bat. Since it is the first game of the season, the stadium is packed. Vendors are dying in the sun. I look back at the game to see the pitcher throw a fast one. Matt swings. The crowd gasps. I see the ball fly high in the sky. HOME RUN! It was off the field. Then, something blocks my view of the sun. It’s the ball, and it’s coming right to me! I place my hands in the air, and I feel something impact my hands. I clasp it, and bring it down. I open my fingers, and see a dirty ball in my hands. :D
