Field Day

I remember my first field day, I thought I was ready for what I was going to happen. I was thinking that we would have just a little snack and we would get back to class, but I was completely wrong. We were spraying bottled water and dumping it on others. We had a snack, but around five minutes, we were jump roping. It was crazy. My advice for field day is to bring extra clothes and don’t get upset if you get wet. That is the fun of it. So, be prepared. You may not know what is coming.

For field day I am most excited to swim! I love playing with water and splashing myself and others. If you have never been to field day my advice is stay with your group if you get lost it might be hard to find it again! Also in field day you should wear a swimsuit under your close because you will get wet. Also you might want to bring another change of clothes to change into after school just incase if you get soaked! Field day is fun for a Lot of people! It should be fun for you too!

My favorite part about Field Day is all the water activities, because I feel like we always have a lot of fun and everybody usually enjoys it. If you're new to Field Day (Harry, Isra, Faris, Alice W., and Alice M.), it's really fun. You basically do a bunch of fun stations, like water gun fights, jump roping, and volleyball. If you are nervous about having to lead it, don't worry. All you have to do is get the people from one station to the next, the parents or teachers at the stations will help everyone with the activities and explain the directions. TIP: don’t be afraid to ask for help. Also, you could ask your other CLAYMO 5th grader for help. Most of all, just have fun!

It's your last field day this week! What are you most excited for? What are you most looking forward too? What advice can you give to someone who has never been to field day? Let's hear the ins and outs of field day!

I am most excited about going to the Clayton Center, and swim. My advice for field day is to bring a extra set of clothes so afterwards when you are soaking wet you can change into a dry pair of clothes. I would also bringing a extra pair of shoes so you don't have to walk in et shoes the rest of the day.
